Nature has always been the most substantial influence in Lisa's life as an artist. For many years colored pencils was Lisa's medium of choice as she created works of landscapes and wildlife. After having the opportunity to live and work in places such as the Grand Canyon, Yosemite, and the San Gorgonio Wilderness, Lisa was truly inspired by those areas and the cultures and natural environments.
Those inspirations opened her imagination to create works which combined aspects from the natural beauty of those areas, as well as the cultures of the communities found there. Lisa's artistic journey has expanded to exploring and using natural fibers, stone, metal, clays, glass and obiects found with both natural and cultural origins. Combining these various mediums and elements is a constant journey to reflect and show appreciation for the beauty found all around us.
Her true passion is creating works that highlight that environment and community but have truly added passion to her desire to create those works and teach others to find their creative interests and help them produce works of their own, as they explore their journey of creation.

Growing up in the "rust belt" of Western Pennsylvania and Eastern Ohio, Jeff's younger years were spent in rural communities while working on farms, in construction, and then in the steel mills, to pay his way through college. Having that background gave Jeff a passion for building, creating, and repairing anything that needed fixing. Jeff genuinely enjoys creating works from items that are not normally associated with artwork, and repurposing and recycling items to create something unique. One of his greatest joys is creating something that someone can use or appreciate in their daily lives.
Jeff's mediums are metal, glass and wood and combinations of those elements. Creating works of art, tools, furniture, or decorative hardware has been an enjoyable and worthwhile journey, and passing those inspirations and skills on to
others is just as rewarding.

Made in Mariposa (MiM) consists of local producers of goods, products, and art located in Mariposa, California.

MiM was created in 2016 with the help of a grant from the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA). MiM was originally managed by the Mariposa Chamber of Commerce and was located at the Visitors Center.
In 2022, MiM members took over management and established MiM as a 501(c)3 nonprofit. In May 2023 the MiM store moved to its present location and is staffed by unpaid volunteers.
